Lisa M "Chlebos" Lopez

We think it's horrible how the defense team of Drew Peterson attacks everybody associated with the Kathleen Savio murder case or Stacy Peterson disappearance (cough cough) murder investigation. We have yet to see the defense team act proper when referring to a witness or potential witness for either one of these cases. They should look at their own legal team before trying to cast the shadow of doubt on anyone else.

Joel Brodsky has quite a few issues himself and we'll definitely get into them at another time on this blog! A thing or two about Joel Brodsky that no one knows will be of topic here, just waiting on confirmation, don't want to make him look any worse than he already does if we cant prove it. We'll be chatting about all the other lawyers from the defense team as well and I'm sure we'll pull a few skeletons from their closets.

The defense lawyer that we would like to chat about is Lisa M "Chlebos" Lopez. We pick her 1st because of how her lawyer husband Joseph "The Whale" Lopez lashed out at the sister of Kathleen Savio this past Friday. Joseph Lopez doesn't seem to think that Susan Doman is a credible witness because she signed a book deal? Big deal! Who cares if Sue Doman signed a book deal. The book deal is no longer valid and she was going to donate any money that she would have made off the book to domestic violence awareness. Now let's talk about Joe Lopez's wife and see who thinks she is an angel or perfect.

Were going to post links for everyone to read about Lisa M Chlebos now known as Lisa M Lopez being arrested for felony theft back in 1997 at the age of 19.. Chlesbos was her maiden name before getting married on June 7, 2003.. Lisa M "Chlebos was at arrested at Nordstrom's (her workplace at that time) for "crediting back her credit card" in the amount of $2,527.00 and she was fired from her job! She used the stores credit card equipment to achieve this bogus credit.. If that's not intentional (when nothing for that amount was purchased) then we dont know what is.

Below are links to various articles to show and prove that we have the correct Lisa M "Chlebos" Lopez (because we know if we dont show the proof) the defense team will try to skate around this.

Article contains info about her getting married to Joseph Lopez:

People finders. com shows her present age of 34 which would have made her 19 (like the news article stated)  back in 1997 at the time of her arrest and it shows Linda M Chlebos as a relative which is her mothers name and it shows Joseph R Lopez .... Looks like she has used some aliases as well

Article shows the sale of a property that Lisa and Joseph R Lopez once owned and sold. Was purchased with Joseph R Lopez's mother Marie Lopez and if you notice when it was sold both Lisa M Chlebos and Lisa M Lopez were the sellers right along with Joseph R Lopez

Article is a death notice of Lisa's grandfather. Just wanted to post this link to show that Lisa's married name and her mothers last name of Chlebos was used in this article

How does it feel to have some of your dirty past thrown back at you? We're guessing you are not perfect either, huh? The defense team cant even prove 90% of the negative things that they bring up about witnesses or potential witnesses. What a piss poor excuse for human beings! You give the good lawyers a bad name.

We would love to hear Lisa M "Chlebos" Lopez explain what happened back in 1997 and then what happened with her case. We know what happened! Maybe she will explain? Don't try to threaten us with take this down or else. Save your threats for someone that you can intimidate. WE'RE NOT SCARED!!

  3. And so what??? What has that to do with ANYTHING??? Who is on trial? The layers? No! The only one on trial is Drew Peterson.
Who cares what Lisa Lopes did in when???? 1997??? What has that to do with the guilty or not guilty of Drew Peterson??
Glasgow's office is trampling the constitution constantly and breaking laws for the sake of political gain. Remember, his office has ruined the lives of innocent people numerous times while the real perps are still out. Costing the taxpayer millions while the real perps are out. That is no the way to keep the public safe. Period.
    Today Drew Peterson.
    Tomorrow you or me.

    1. No!!! Drew Peterson isn't the only one on trial, the defense team tries to put all of the witnesses on trial with the way they trash talk them about their past and present life styles and 90% of the time the defense team cant prove anything they say. Lisa Lopez was arrested for felony theft but yet Drew Peterson's defense team slams everyone else for not being the proper citizen? Get real! This blog just shows that the defense should take a look in the mirror before trashing others.

Glasgow's office has ruined the lives of numerous people? Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. Can you back that statement up? I highly doubt you can but I'll be around to check back in with ya. Make sure you not only prove Mr Glasgow ruined numerous lives but also prove he cost the tax payers on Will County millions, thats laughable at best!

There is no way to keep the public safe? Not when you have people like Drew Peterson going around killing people and getting away with it for years. Thank God James Glasgow made the decision to bring forth murder charges on Drew Peterson.I cant stop laughing at your statement of "today Drew Peterson, tomorrow you or me". Thanks for stopping by

    1. Drew Peterson never allowed any of Kathleen Savio's family to visit the kids. Drew made sure of that with his controlling ways. I believe it was Drew Peterson that was scrubbing the murder scene followed by him taking everything out of the house while Kathleen"s family members were attending the get together after the funeral that Drew Peterson caused.

      Delete
    2. You mean the wake he paid for because they would not contribute 2 cents to their loved one's funeral. It was his house at that point. By the way, where was the murder scene?????

      Delete
    3. He should have paid for the funeral, he caused it. Drew Peterson got plenty from killing Kathleen so the funeral was a drop in the bucket for him. The house became all his after he killed Kathleen Savio.

The murder scene was the one that Drew Peterson staged to look like an accident.

Peterson lawyers are not perfect like you ,they have faults but unlike you they have drive, charisma, wit, and success. BTW the Illinois Supreme Court admitted Lisa M. Lopez to the bar of Illinois notwithstanding her misdemeanor conviction and not felony conviction, so get your facts straight before you sling your mud. Thanks for your fine investigative journalism report. Maybe you will get the "Kogan" award for your fine work.

  6. How come Henry Sr did not go to Drew's and Kathy's wedding and never went to see his grandchildren when Drew and Kathy were married and happy? Sue did not go to Kathy and Drew's wedding and she has the audacity to claim she was so close to her sister? There are no documents backing up Sue's claim she was going to donate the money. If the contract was irrelevant, they how come your star prosecutors did not keep it out of evidence.

The prosecution is doing just fine! When that guilty verdict is read, let's see how your defense teams reacts.

I wonder if Drew Peterson will have the same defense team when they arrest him for the murder of Stacy Cales.

    1. Lol. Yea, you're right. Her being arrested for crediting her credit card back in the amount of $2,527.00 wasn't squat. Nothing was even bought that came close to that amount so why the credit in that amount? I guess the Oak Brook Police thought it was something when they arrested her and the courts found it to be something when she was prosecuted. If she was so innocent then why did she take the states offer?

The defense tries to dirty up EVERY witness they come in contact with and thats OK? They bring up things from peoples past but lets not bring up Lisa Lopez's past? Obviously you missed the meaning of this blog story.

We should be ashamed of ourselves? Na! You should be ashamed for thinking she was falsely arrested in the store that she worked at. I guess Nordstrom's didn't have video cameras, loss prevention,a store manager, cash register receipts or an accounting method to prove Lisa Stole. Maybe they decided to pick on her because she was employee of the month? Na, thats not it. Hmm! Let me think. Boy, this sure is a tough one.

    2. The beef has been everyday in the court room. What trial have you been following? The state is building their case day by day. Let's see how the defense does when they call their witnesses. We already seen Joel Brodsky in action, he yelled out objection when one of his own colleagues was doing cross examination on a state witness. I bet no one ever seen that happen in a courtroom before. Hysterical!

Here is another one from them talented defense lawyers today:

Meczyk objects "I'm sorry to interrupt the witness, your honor, I blurted out objection, and I don't have one."

Let's not forget how Lopez paved the way for the S/A to bring in some hearsay evidence that Judge White ruled to stay out. He dicked his client over bad with that screw up..

Do me a favor, point the so called legal community that you speak of to this blog so they can have a laugh at this comment I posted, which shows how smart the defense team is.

  16. You know how ignorant and stupid you are-if it was relevant do you think she would be able to be a lawyer? She has more education than any of the Cales misfit sex offenders or the Savio money grabbers put together. Her past did not matter to the U o I or John Marshall Law School. You should attack the "Shark" , Brodsky and Greenberg they are leading the charge its like you are shooting the jeep driver instead of the General and claiming a victory.

    1. The Savio's are money grubbers? You have proof of that? Seems like Drew Peterson was the money grubber. Money meant so much to him that he killed two mothers, 1 mother to gain it and 1 mother to contain it. You trash the Cale and Savio family's but yet Drew Peterson was with each one of them.

It wasn't a violent crime that Lisa Lopez did and it was lowered to a misdemeanor because of a deal she took from Dupage County S/A. Doesn't surprise us that she was still able to become a lawyer. Joel Brodsky tried to steal thousands from one of his dead clients (while he was an attorney) and he's still practicing law. Your Point is what?

We are not trying to claim any victory. We just wanted to make a blog for people like you to come here and call us ignorant and stupid. See, we got our wish. Thanks for the backlash, it lets us know that we're pissing off.

From reading other comments - it really bothers people that the state has to rely on rumors of proven liars. I am not a big fan of Lopez but from what i read in the paper he stuffed the movie deal up Susan Savios rectum. The paper said he assailed another witness who lived in the house and said she lived there while the threat to kill was alive and did nothing about it. SOunds like the rest of the witnesses who came forward after stacy. Maybe Drew did something with stacy but this looks like he had a horseshoe up his ass and got lucky.

Kathleen Savio had an order of protection before and dropped it for the same reason. Go do some research and you'll see it's the truth.

  23. Maybe the defense is flying high right now thinking they've got the upper hand, but the truth may be that people are getting fed up and disgusted with this judge and his feeble attempts to roadblock the prosecution at every turn. People want justice, they want the truth to be told, whether it's "helpful" or not to the murder defendant. They want a jury to find him either innocent or guilty, not the judge whose lips are suction-cupped on the butts of the lawyers he must be so enamored with. The jury in this case is not getting the whole picture, they're getting the watered down version of this judge's ridiculous rulings. People should be outraged at this judge.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't agree that this judge seems to be easing up. It appears he will not be outsmarted by anyone. His pretrial rulings have set the tone for this trial, and it is obvious the prosecution is severely limited in what it can allow its witnesses to testify to. As long as the prosecution attempts to get around his rulings, it's going to be more of the same. At first, I thought that once the defense began with its witnesses, the tides would change and they'd find themselves in a few pickles, but I don't see that happening so much.

This judge allowed in some of the hearsay that was iffy, as though he wants the State's case to look shaky. The evidence that has powerful meaning, like the actual tub, Peterson's prior actions of abuse towards Kathleen, the attempt of Peterson to solicit a hitman, the financial motive, etc., is all being kept out by this judge's rulings. WTH, an expert doctor witness can't even say he crawled into the tub himself? What a crock!

Say what you will, this is just a farce of a trial. What a shame.

I don't spit on cops, and I don't have to hire lawyers because I brutalized anyone, either mentally or physically. I do count my lucky stars for every day that God gives me. Hopefully, my life will not end in the brutal way that Kathleen's did.

That being said, I don't know how else to respond to you. You are a defense member -- it wouldn't matter if your client beat the crap out of 10 wives or not. It's your job to use your degree to the extent that is humanly possible to get him off, whether it's morally right or not. That's just the way it is. You will not sway those that are sick and tired of seeing innocent people brutalized by subhumans, and then have to hear a high-paid lawyer trash their lives and reputations solely to win a case.

The states case seems to be picking up a lot of momentum. It's still very early into these court proceedings. Everyone has their own opinions about the prosecutors and the defense but none of our opinions matter because we are not one of the 12 jurors that were selected to decide Drew's fate.

I do think Drew killed both Kathleen & Stacy but my opinion does not matter as I'm not a juror. There are way too many things that I have read and seen to make me think otherwise. I'm entitled to have my own opinion just like everyone else.

The saddest part in all of this is that two mothers are gone, taken away from their children and it looks like the father of these children will be going to prison for the remainder of his life. What about these poor kids? How will they ever learn to deal with all of this?

  31. You idiot do you not know there is a difference between moral responsibility and legal responsibility? That is why lawyers need law degrees to understand and why morons like you and others do not understand what is going on in the courtroom and why the judge is making intellectual rulings which you have no ability to understand and get mad when it does not go your way. the judge is a referee of the law> Just like when the Bears play-calls do not always go that way. But you have to be a trained lawyer to understand what is going on with the evidence.

What an intelligent, well-thought out response. Not! Who are you talking to anyway?

I wouldn't be so quick to spew out what is moral and what is legal responsibility. Obviously, you think you are on the side of legal responsibility, but judging by your pathetic, immature and ignorant first two words, you lack in the moral department. I'm proud of the fact that I do have morals. You should try it sometime, instead of worrying about your materialistic ideals when representing a reprehensible criminal.

Being a "trained lawyer" does not make you better than anyone else, I'm afraid. Your life is not worth anymore than a struggling family, a single mom or a single dad, trying to raise decent human beings in a world filled with crime and hate. You know, the kind of people defense lawyers will trip over themselves to represent so that they can put their skills of legal responsibility to use.

Then again, if you want to get back to the gist of this whole blog/thread, Lisa Chlebos is fortunate to have had the opportunity to be represented in her felony theft issue. Fortunate, because she moved on from being a thief and criminal, who later married a wealthy man and became a lawyer. A lawyer is is now willing to represent the kind of people she was once herself.

  34. Lawyers represent all types of people, criminal law, contract law, securities law etc. Doctors save suspects who are shot by the police during the commission of crime-are they also reprehensible? We defend the constitution you idiot, but that is something you do not understand this is the United States it does not matter if a person committed a crime or not-what matters under the constitution which was written by REPUBLICANS is can the government prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. The is the test -that is why you are blurring moral responsibility with legal responsibility its an intellectual application of the Constitution and Bill of RIghts. Your are right, we are not better only better trained in the law to understand what non-lawyers do not. Law Schools and Bar Exams test that ability. Common folk not trained in the law do not understand the rules of evidence. People ilk you crack us up because once someone you know or a family member is arrested the right wingers are banging on our doors-So who are the hypocrites?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

I wouldn't be so sure that these were blunders on the prosecutions part. It looks like they are just begging for a mistrial without prejudice.

Could it be that they are wanting to start over in hopes of getting a different judge? Could it be that they want to enter evidence that was not entered in this ongoing case? Could it be that they are trying to see how far they can push the envelope because of the hearsay that wasn't allowed in?

I ask these questions because it's hard for me to believe that a seasoned set of prosecutors could actually be this careless to make these types of errors.

  36. Joel A. Brodsky, Attorney at Law

Well now it's a fight. All Judge Burmila did was even things out a bit. Until yesterday the Defense was way ahead. Now its a bit more even. But the jury seems to be getting it, seeing how peoples statements about knifes and threats dont appear in their police reports until after they meet with the State's Attorney after the investigation against Drew Peterson started in late 2007. Every time a witness admits that some part of their story is missing from the police report the jurrors are furiously writing notes. We have a good jury and a great team and this battle is long from being over.

    August 9 at 4:23am

Joel Brodsky wrote that on Aug 9th so I guess them 6 days after August 9th just put the prosecution ahead a little bit more and yesterday just slapped the f--k out of the defense team.

  42. Whop de doo, Jafo discovered IN 2012 what the rest of us have known for years -- type someone's name in google and the serum begins to seep out the nose. Is that all you have dude? Some arrest that happened 15 years ago? Trib posted that in 1997 -- like OMG, that's so yesterday's news! Are your beady little eyes are that jealous? What's the matter, did you flunk the LSAT like George Bush? You just hate her because she would never give your creepy maggot beady-eye ass the time of day. Hey guess what maggot, Rhianna said it best -- "sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me." You got your five minutes. Guess what -- she'll get five more, and five more, and five more after that. We got ya -- and guess what, it's out and it's OVA. Quote Jay Z "On to the next one...on....on...on...to the next one." Grow some balls MAGGOT FACE!

Who is us? You must be related, maybe a friend or possibly the thief Lisa herself. Who else would know about her arrest? She isn't anyone special. Just a convicted thief married to an old whale. One would have to know her maiden name in order to find her arrest online. All but family and friends know her as Lisa Lopez.

Hey! Guess what? Every time you post a comment on this blog, We get our so called 5 minutes back.. Go write something useful, maybe a suicide note? Thanks for the attention, it let's us know that we're pissing off the right people.

    2. I am appalled by this. A blog does not give you the right to say vicious things about a younge woman doing her job! You hide behind your computer worrying about the most worthless things while we should be talking the death of a woman or future of an alleged killer but you somehow are more worried about the lawyers and to tell one of your readers to go write a suicide note just showed all your readers to read something else because your a juvenile and disgusting person. I'm not a fan of this defense team but im much more disgusted by you! I will never read your blog again as your words have shown that whatever you have to say is worthless. If you have any class you will apologize to they our readers and Ms. Lopez... Not for telling us about her arrest (no one really cares) but for everything else you have said!! Disgraceful!!

    3. We cant please everyone. This blog isn't about Kathleen or Stacy. It's about the scumbags lawyers that go around trashing every witness but yet they have past issues themselves. If you would like to talk about the 2 mothers that Drew Peterson killed then go make a blog about it.

We could careless if you're disgusted by what we wrote. You should be disgusted by the way the defense team acts or how they trash everyone, they even trash Kathleen Savio and she was brutally murdered according to Dr Blum. Who cares if you'll never read this blog again. It's not like we're making money on it. This isn't our source of income so ease on down the road!

  43. You did her a favor I heard she picked up two new clients who loved the fact she had been arrested and she understands the system. Can't wait to see her new $2000 pair of shoes you should lick the heels and get the scum off of them. Also your prosecutors had a witness kicked out of the courtroom by the seat of his pants. Poor taxpayers had to pay for the airfare from Germany to Joliet only to have the judge kick him out of the courtroom. Prosecution for Dummies is an understatement.

    1. That's great that she got 2 new clients. We call B.S but it's your lie so tell it however you like. Ralph Meczyk is a scumbag and he gets new clients all the time. Scumbag criminals need scumbag lawyers so whats the shock factor with your comment?

First it was $1,000 per pair of shoes and now it's $2,000 per pair of shoes? Stop it! Just take her to a horse stable to get her fitted then drop her off at a prairie to let her run.

Glasgow & company are doing great! The prosecutors cant have a perfect day all the time. Come back and chat when Drew Peterson is getting one last ride to the prison he'll be passing away in.

Every time you type a comment? We accomplish what we're here for. Thank You!

  44. Jafo you obviously do not comprehend the role of a defense attorney. They are supossed to attack prosecution witnesses so the jury knows any and all reasons the witnesses have to testify in a certain manner- their bias- what do you hate the constitution!?!? Want si burn the bill of rights!?!? These lawyers are doing their job - what's your excuse for attacking attorney Lopez? For all we know the witness are testifying because of the money riding on the result and we wouldn't even know they had a reason to exaggerate or lie if the lawyers didn't bring this stuff to light! I hope Lisa did get more clients from this because I know if I needed a lawyer I'd want a real persons- flaws and all, mistakes make us stronger; I know I wouldn't want some high and mighty lawyer who is not a real person... To LISA- YOU GO GIRL!!!

  46. Too many comments are coming from Anonymous posters. We're sure this is (because we record all I.P Addresses) coming from a couple of the same bias/lawyers/family people so you'll have to register for a name in order to comment. A lot of comments appeared to be from different people but were in fact posted from the same IP.

Obviously you can still register with numerous names (to make it look like you're many different people) but at least you'll have to register and then take the time to post under them various names. If thats what makes ya happy then go for it!

  47. Joe Lopez has a new nickname, call him "the Catfish" because he is a bottom feeder. And Liza Lopez swims with him. She is very similar to Drew's young wives, marrying him for the money & power. She moved on up from working class Burbank
to a deluxe apartment in the sky of downtown Chicago.
From: a working class south sider
